Everywhere the conquerors went, there were three things that they kept in mind: gold, God, glory. There should be “g” up there with the rest: guns. Think about it? Where would the modern world be without guns? If the Spaniards had fought on the natives with the same axes and spears it would be a much different world we would be living in and there would probably be a lot less people claiming to believe in a god that their ancestors had resisted to their death. How would the conquerors have gotten the gold without the guns? How would the glory have been achieved if the ends of the pistols weren't smoking and the fields were bleeding with infidels?

But then again here we are past the age of the unchartered seas and we are still fascinated with mechanisms that can put a hole in a man, this time from further away and with less time wasted on reloading. But to be fair, the human race has found a way for the gun love to be more of a sport and less of a reason to kill. Shooting games, incapable of death and sans the blood lust were invented and plastic n-shooting fps airsoft guns were made for the masses' gaming pleasure.

Airsoft is a great game to play with buddies. Playing fields can be customized and all-out war can be declared until the last person is down. Just to clarify on what it means, fps stands for feet per second. Since ammo on airsoft guns is lighter (and therefore not really capable of piercing skin) the measurements are different from the regular guns. A higher number fps means that a gun shoots faster; logically speaking, 500 fps airsoft guns would shoot better than 400 fps airsoft guns.

But sacrificing firepower for maneuverability is also another thing to keep in mind. While a weapon may fire faster, making it too bulky could sacrifice the few seconds one has in setting up. Players usually refer the assault rifles or long-range shooters, these are about 400 fps airsoft guns, maxing out at about less than 500. Electric models usually fall under the 400-450 fps airsoft guns category and they handle much better than the manual guns. Real wood guns are pretty classic as well, but plastic guns are more light-weight and are less vulnerable to scratching. Metal however is still the best.
